Jason Statham Returns as The Mechanic on August 26th – Trailer and details!

Games with assassins are almost as ubiquitous as games involving wars or jumping plumbers, and filmmakers appear to be fans of the killer-for-hire genre as well. This time around, Jason Statham reprises his role as Arthur Bishop in the sequel to the 2011 film. The Mechanic, released in 2011, was a modest box office success – ranking in about $80M in theaters. It showed how Bishop was grooming an apprentice in the business, and starred Donald Sutherland and Ben Foster. As with most Statham action flicks, it featured lots of fight scenes and a script whose main purpose was to come up with excuses for Statham to kick some butt. The new movie, Mechanic: Resurrection, follows an equally well-used action film sequel plot device: Just…

GamesCom 2016 – Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies Trailer

Well… Seems like the painful wait for some but Activision and Infinity Ward have finally lifted the veils and announced that Zombies is coming to Infinite Warfare this fall. Zombies in Spaceland tells the story of four aspiring actors who come upon a mysterious movie theater for an audition. They’ve been invited by director Willard Wyler, portrayed with voice and likeness by Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, Gotham), who was once the shining star of the horror genre. Unbeknownst to the actors, they will be transformed into the movie characters onscreen and transported straight into Wyler’s film to fight against an all-new variety of zombies in an ‘80s theme park. You’ll play as one of four ‘80s movie-inspired characters: the jock, the nerd, the valley…

No Man’s Sky First Impressions

The time has finally come – No Man’s Sky is available for purchase on both PS4 and PC! Pixel Cereal is here with our first impressions of this massive game after experiencing about 10 hours of gameplay. First things first, if you are a gamer that enjoys nice visuals, then No Man’s Sky is a game that will probably catch your eye. The visuals can, at times, be a bit uneven – flying above the planets at slow speed leads to some significant pop-in of geometry and textures – but walking around some of the more colorful planets and travelling around in outer space can be a memorable experience. I won’t soon forget my first lift-off into space, my first time warping to the next…

GamesCom 2016 – New Mafia 3 Trailer

GamesCom 2016 is in full swing over in Cologne Germany. I fully expect to see a whole bunch of new trailers and teasers for this fall’s jam packed blockbuster season and leading the way this morning is one of my most highly anticipated titles, Mafia 3. This trailer teaches us more about Lincoln, the game’s protagonist and a sneak peek into the seedy underworld of New Orleans and some of it’s inhabitants. Mafia 3 hits October 7 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One #Mafia3 *GLOBAL REVEAL* When Lincoln returned from Vietnam, his family were all he had. One night would change all.https://t.co/cOm3VNvrzH — 2K United Kingdom (@2K_UK) August 16, 2016

Black Costume for Superman in Justice League?

Seems that Superman just might be rocking out the black costume in Justice League according to a recent post by Henry Cavill on his Instagram page. Will he get long hair to go along with the black costume as well? What are your thoughts? #Superman A photo posted by Henry Cavill (@henrycavill) on Aug 15, 2016 at 11:58am PDT

Fallout 4: Nuka-World DLC Trailer

Bitter sweet this is. This morning, Bethesda released a trailer for the final component of DLC for Fallout 4 called Nuka-World. It’s kinda like Disney World in a post apocalyptic realm and it looks great. The DLC for Fallout 4 has been nothing short of fantastic in my opinion and I’m ready to punch my ticket to Nuka-World. Nuka-World will be available worldwide on Tuesday, August 30th across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for $19.99.

Batman: Arkham VR – “Wear the Cowl” Trailer

The Arkham games were easily the coolest and best superhero games made to date. Today Rocksteady has released a new trailer for their upcoming VR experience, Batman: Arkham VR coming this October to PlayStation VR. The trailer doesn’t really give or show us much but it does feature clips of people at E3 who just finished experiencing it and they all seem pretty pumped. I’m not a huge VR guy (granted it could be because I’ve yet to experience it) but this does look pretty cool. Any thoughts from you guys?
