Microsoft Introduces Xbox Game Pass

Well yesterday was quite the day. Microsoft announced a new subscription service call Xbox Game Pass. Basically, for $10 a month, you get unlimited access to a library of XBox One and XBox 360 titles. Perhaps OG XBox titles could be coming in the future? Who knows but damn that would be super. Here’s a few notes about the new service. At the moment if you’re a preview member you get access to the service until they launch in the fall. New Guardians of the Galaxy – Vol 2 Trailer Debut

One of the year’s most anticipated releases, James Gunn‘s Guardians of the Galaxy sequel is just over two months away! Today, Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have released a new trailer for Vol. 2 that you can check out in the player below. Directed and written by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is produced by Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Nik Korda and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Opening in theaters on May 5, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be followed by Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7 and Thor: Ragnarok on November 3. Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to open on May 4, 2018.

The new Alien Covenant trailer has finally arrived ahead of it’s May May 19th release and it looks fantastic. Check it out below Set as the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with Prometheus, Alien: Covenant connects directly to Ridley Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. It begins with the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. There, the crew discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Following its debut on FX’s Legion, 20th Century Fox has released the Alien: Covenant prologue! The prologue introduces the crew of the mission as they gather for a final meal before entering cryosleep. Set aboard the Covenant, a colonization ship on its way to a remote planet to form a new human settlement, the main crew (all couples) and their android, Walter, enjoy their final meal together before cryosleep. It’s less than a month away from one of my all time favorite series’ from the last gen. Mass Effect. The excitement is real and I’m hoping to burn through the previous titles in the lead up to the March 21st release but this winter has been different than most. There’s so much to play. Anyway – Back to the task at hand. BioWare has released two new videos for the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda, the first shows gameplay focusing on the profiles, favorites, and squads players have in the game, and the second a profile on Game of Thrones‘ star Natalie Dormer’s character, Dr Lexi T’Perro. Mass Effect: Andromeda debuts on March 21 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Rise & Shine is a 2D side scrolling shooter that takes pays a great deal of homage to classic games from my childhood like Contra, Zelda and a variety of other titles. The plot, puts the gamer into protagonist Rise’s shoes who has the gun Shine bestowed upon him to aid him in defending his planet Gamearth from invasion of space baddies whose real purpose is never really fleshed out in any great detail. The game itself is simple in concept but utilizing a dual thumb stick control scheme to aim and shoot. The MASS EFFECT Youtube page uploaded 2 NEW videos for their next instalments for the MASS EFFECT Series that introduce to viewers & fans some new characters, aliens and what looks to be the next Main Villain of this game that will be hitting store shelves and digital dashboards on March 21st.
