Middle-earth: Shadow of War Delayed

Previously set for an August 22 release date, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions have announced the upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of War has been delayed. The sequel to the critically-acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will now arrive on October 10, 2017. I know. What a freaking drag is that right? For those of us who have been excited to get back to Middle-earth this is terrible news but it’s not as bad as it could be. In just less than 2 weeks from now we’re going to see more at E3 so that will hopefully be enough to quench your thirst until the new release date in October. Could the reason possibly be to launch simultaneously with XBox Scorpio? Here’s what the developer had…

Everspace Review (Xbox One)

Everspace is a new sci-fi space shooter epic from German game developer, Rockfish Games which got its start as a Kickstarter campaign. The game sets players in the shoes of Adam Roslin’s clone(s) who also happens to have a severe case of amnesia. Soon after the game’s setting is revealed, the player is throw out to the expanses of space and into a tutorial teaching you about the intricacies of Everspace. Each stage has multiple sectors and paths to reach all leading to dungeon style levels of space. I say dungeon style because there’s no other real way to explain it. Each level is this massive area of space filled…

Friday the 13th The Game – Review (XBox One)

I should preface that this review is based off of approximately 20 hours of gameplay over the course of the weekend and while I’m fully aware of the ongoing server issues, I didn’t really use them as a factor in reviewing this game because I was able to get a solid 20+ hours in of playing via private matches and searching for gamers option on XBox (really a saving grace this weekend) What is there to say about Friday the 13th? Watching these movies is easily one of my most beloved and cherished memories growing up in the 80s. My best friends and I were horror movie junkies and Friday the 13 was a cornerstone of our youth. I even had the original game for…

As promised, this morning Ubisoft removed the veil on Far Cry 5 and.. well… in today’s politically charged climate, it’s sure to make some waves and turn some heads as it touches on a slightly augmented version of today set in modern day Montana USA , a first for the series. A religious cult which has seized the entire county Hope, Montana which draws some similarities to other places in the world which are beginning to see a dramatic shift to religions and ideals in urban areas that isn’t necessarily sitting well with some people. Without going into where my head is at with this topic, check out…

This morning Beam/Microsoft had a major announcement to make. That announcement was the rebranding of Beam.Pro, Microsoft’s answer to Youtube/Twitch streaming, as Mixer.
